The 13-inch Air has a fully laminated Liquid Retina display. Full assembly replacement available in 24–48 hours. iAssist also offers glass-only repair using our OCA lamination machine — separates the broken glass, fits OEM-grade glass, re-laminates onto your original Apple LCD. Takes 3–5 days. Full Apple Pencil Pro compatibility preserved.
Apple Pencil Pro not responding after repair
If a previous repair elsewhere used low-grade digitizer glass, Pencil Pro hover, pressure, or tilt may not function correctly. iAssist uses OEM-spec glass — we can replace an inferior repair with a proper assembly.
Modular USB-C port — M3 Air 13 only
iPad Air M3 13-inch (2025) has a modular USB-C port — direct swap for R2,500. M2 Air 13-inch has a soldered port requiring micro-soldering.

Battery draining fast
The 13-inch Air has a larger battery than the 11-inch but heavy use degrades it noticeably. Replacement restores full all-day runtime.
Side Touch ID not working
Touch ID is in the top power button. A failed button affects both power control and fingerprint authentication — replacement restores both.

Which iPad Air models are 13-inch?
Apple introduced the 13-inch iPad Air with the M2 6th gen in 2024 — the first time a large-format Air was available. The M3 7th gen (2025) continued this size. Future Air generations will also come in 13-inch as Apple has committed to maintaining both sizes.
Is the iPad Air 13-inch the same as the iPad Pro 13-inch?
No. The Air 13-inch uses a standard Liquid Retina LCD display — not the Mini-LED XDR or OLED found on iPad Pro. It also lacks ProMotion (120Hz), LiDAR scanner, and has fewer camera features. The display assemblies are completely different parts.
Does iPad Air 13-inch have a modular USB-C port?
Yes — the M3 Air 13-inch (7th gen, 2025) has a modular USB-C port swappable for R2,500. The M2 Air 13-inch (6th gen, 2024) has a soldered USB-C port requiring micro-soldering.
Does iPad Air 13-inch support Apple Pencil Pro?
Yes — both the M2 and M3 Air 13-inch support Apple Pencil Pro. We use OEM-specification digitizer glass to ensure full Pencil Pro compatibility — pressure, tilt, and hover — after any screen replacement.
Is the 13-inch Air display the same as the 11-inch Air?
No. The 13-inch display assembly is completely different to the 11-inch — different panel, different housing, different part number. They cannot be swapped.
Where is Touch ID on the 13-inch iPad Air?
In the top power button — same as Air 4 onwards. No Home button.
How long does iPad Air 13-inch screen repair take?
