All screen replacements at iAssist use high-grade OEM-specification glass and digitizer assemblies. These match Apple's factory touch sensitivity, colour accuracy, and — critically for artists and professionals — full Apple Pencil compatibility including pressure, tilt, and palm rejection. We do not use low-grade aftermarket glass that degrades Pencil performance.

iAssist has a professional OCA lamination machine and bubble removal machine. This means we can do glass-only refurbishment on any iPad — Mini 2 through 7, all standard iPad generations, all Air models, and all iPad Pro sizes. We remove the broken glass, fit new OEM-grade glass, and re-laminate — the original Apple LCD or OLED panel stays intact throughout.

Touch faulty? If the digitizer/touch layer has failed (not just the glass), we can also replace the touch on any model. The price is higher than glass-only but your original Apple LCD/OLED remains intact.

⚠ Important: If the glass is very badly shattered, the touch layer can sometimes be damaged during glass removal — this is a known risk with heavily cracked screens. We always assess the touch after glass removal and advise you immediately. If touch replacement is needed, we confirm the additional cost with you before proceeding. Your Apple LCD or OLED is never at risk.
