What's the payment sequence?

Diagnose, quote, approve, repair, pay — always in that order. You're not charged until the work's done and you've agreed to it: cash, card or EFT in person, EFT for courier clients, with the R350 round-trip fee included on that same invoice, settled before we send the phone back. No repair possible means no charge for the diagnostic.
