Yes. It's a U9500 charging IC failure, most often triggered by a cheap or non-MFi USB-C charger — the phone locks at 1% and won't charge, and the touchscreen occasionally stops responding too. Fixing it means replacing the IC and EEPROM at board level, which isn't offered anywhere in the Edenvale area that we've come across.
